India is a multi-religious, multi-lingual and multi-cultural country. It is consisted of many communities, castes and religions. Though there are so many diversities, there is a unity among themselves that they all are Indians.
As it is universally said that all are equal before law, India is not out of that side. India has its own constitution that tells that all Indians are equal before law. All people having equal right to freedom, education and social status, can perform anything freely. Each citizen of India possesses the right of choosing any kind of jobs without hindrance and can enter public places, like park or libraries etc., freely.
India is a secular country as mentioned in the preamble of Indian constitution that, "We, the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC". So, there is no Indian national religion, constitutionally. Every religions have freedom to arrange any type of legal and peaceful meetings, function or public lectures. No religion has power to stop other religions from preaching their mission or faith and to destroy the worshipping places, like Temples, Mosques or Churches, of other religions.
Among all the communities, Muslims are the second largest community of India. They have their own faith and culture. Muslims are citizens of India, it means they can take part in democracy and can vote anyone or send their representatives to the Parliament, and they can, as well as, contest on the election as a candidate of their self-dominated party. These rights are granted to every communities or religions by the constitution of free India.
Facts discussed above are the fundamental rights given to all citizens by the constitution of India. Now some questions arise:-
➣ As a real citizen of India, do Muslims possess all the rights and opportunities practically?
➣ Are they free to raise their voice?
➣Do they have equal freedom to practise their religious customs and culture?
And the the biggest question that is burning on every communal minds is -
➣Are Muslims considered as real Indian?
